What does MLD feel like?

Vodder style MLD is gentle, slow, rhythmic and painless. Many people find the predictable pace and repetition of the strokes soothing to the nervous system and often experience deep relaxation or fall asleep during the session.

MLD uses no oil or lotion and is most effective with full skin contact (not done through clothes).

How will I feel after a session?

Every body is unique. MLD stimulates both your lymphatic and immune systems as it moves fluid, waste and toxins from your tissues. Many people experience pain relief, a lightness in the body and relaxation. Sometimes people experience a little nausea if they are processing a lot of toxins. Draining edema during your session may cause a few more visits to the restroom for the next day or two.
